Had a productive day after presiding the deliberations under the Finance Committee on the Proposed 2019 Budgets of the following agencies, Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), Credit Information Corporation (CIC), Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone Authority (ZCSEZA), Commission on Filipino Overseas (CFO) and the Cagayan Economic Zone (CEZ).
I also sponsored two important measures, the National Integrated Cancer Control Act that will give equitable and affordable cancer treatment and care especially for the underprivileged and marginalized Filipinos and the Child Safety in Motor Vehicles Law which aims to provide protection to infants and young children from deaths and serious injuries caused by road crashes and traffic related incidents by mandating the use of Child Restraint System in motor vehicle.
