My gratitude goes out to the DOH, headed by Secretary Duque, and officials of World Health Organization for inviting me as Guest Speaker in this Universal Health Care Mutisectoral Dialogue, which is no doubt a very important and relevant activity in connection with the 2019 World Health Day Celebration.
Of course, it is with deep humility to express my admiration and thanks to Congresswoman Angelina Tan, who is the indefatigable chairperson of the House health committee; the DOH people, of couse led by Sec. Duque; and civil society groups for their indispensable support that led to the enacment of the Universal Health Care Act.
Tamang-tama ang okasyong ito para ipahayag ko muli na pinatunayan ng tagumpay ng pagsasabatas ng Universal Health Care na sa pagtutulungan at pagkakaisa ng paniniwala at pagsisikap, kung para sa kapakanan ng lahat, matutupad ang pangarap.
