Had the chance to talk to our farmers and IPs here in Bayugan City. Happily shared to them the recently passed Free Irrigation Bill that will surely help boost the agriculrural sector together with the Anti-Agricultural Smuggling Law and other legislative proposals that we are pushing.
Earlier today, we sponsored the "Enhanced Fiscal Regime for Large-Scale Metallic Mining Act," one of the priority measures identified in the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council in the 19th Congress.
Umaasa tayo na sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalakas ng mga alituntunin para sa transparency at accountability, matutulungan natin ang Department of Environment and Natural Resources, mga local government unit, at maging ang civil society na pangalagaan ang ating kalikasan.
By enacting these reforms, we are not only modernizing our mining tax regime but also laying the foundation for responsible resource management that benefits all Filipinos.
