INAUGURATION OF SPECIALTY CENTER IN ILOILO CITY
Attended the inauguration of the Heart and Lung Care Center Building at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Iloilo City.
The opening of these facilities at the WVMC will be a major step forward as it will provide much-needed healthcare services to the region.
This is indeed the very essence of Republic Act No. 11959 or the "Regional Specialty Centers Act," a legislation that I had the honor of co-authoring and co-sponsoring, which aims to ensure fair access to a diverse range of specialized healthcare services across the nation.
This project marks a significant milestone for us as it's one of our flagship initiatives that we've proudly funded alongside Cong. Jam Jam Baronda. It underscores our dedication to enhancing healthcare accessibility in the region.
