As Chair of the Senate Committee on Health I presided over the public hearing on Universal Healthcare Program here in Lingayen City, Pangasinan where I personally exchanged views with fellow legislators and our people in the region to come up with an effective measure on health that will immensely benefit all our countrymen.
During the hearing, I also expressed our unrelenting efforts to improve the lives of our medical workers including the BHWs who are our foot soldiers.
