Made a quick ocular visit to Southern Philippines Medical Center to check their facilities and have a personal account on our kababayan’s needs.
I was impressed. This is by far the most modernized government hospital that I have visited, with almost complete facilities, orderly units and modernized equipment.

As Chair of the Senate Committee on Health, I shared with them our vision of modernizing the existing medical facilities in other areas by the year 2022.
