The rich and fertile land of Mindanao can provide vast opportunities for the country, especially the agricultural sector. Essentially, the region can be developed to address the food security needs of the country and to grow crops for export. Furthermore, major cities such as Davao, General Santos, Cagayan De Oro, Iligan and Zamboanga, have trained and educated manpower that addresses the needs of trade and industry. The power needs can also be boosted with the immediate rehabilitation of the Agus-Pulangi Hydropower Complex.
