Kidney failure, also called end-stage renal disease (ESRD), is the last stage of chronic kidney disease. When your kidneys fail, it means they have stopped working well enough for you to survive without dialysis or a kidney transplant.

That is why we filed Senate Bill No. 1505 or the Dialysis Center Act of 2017, this proposed measure aims to establish dialysis ward or unit in all national, regional, and provincial government hospitals with complete dialysis machine, equipment and supplies. This will make the dialysis center available to kidney patients residing in rural areas.
