I support medical societies and health experts call for the immediate passage of the bill increasing the excise tax on tobacco products which I principally authored.
I am with you in pushing for a higher tobacco tax. We will be hitting two birds with one stone. One as a revenue generating measure and second and more importantly as a serious honest-to-goodness health measure.
This will be in support for the sustainability of the Universal Healthcare Program.
