I would like to thank incoming Senate President Zubiri and my colleagues for giving me this opportunity to serve the Senate in the 19th Congress as assistant majority floor leader.
Hindi magiging madali ang trabaho natin, since I will holding this position while heading two important committees: the Senate Committee on Local Government and Committee on Urban Planning, Housing, and Resettlement. There will be a lot of pressure, given the country's current health and economic situation.
But we will work hard to deliver. Sa tulong ng Diyos at ng mamamayan, maglilingkod tayo nang tapat!
