BETTER HOUSING FOR ALL!
The week-that-was was a fruitful one for the housing sector. We attended the turnover of more than a thousand units in Malabon and the groundbreaking for the Disiplina Village in Valenzuela. These projects demonstrate what we can achieve when different sectors come together for the housing sector.
We still have a long way to go in our effort to address the country's housing backlogs. But with the current administration's commitment and dedication to our cause, as well as the unwavering support of our local government units and our partners in the private sector, we will surely overcome these challenges and accomplish our mission of producing around six million housing units by 2028.
As chairman of the Senate Committee on Urban Planning, Housing, and Resettlement, I will support these initiatives until the very end. The housing sector will always have a voice in the Senate.
