Spent this Tuesday morning with Vice President Leni Robredo at the launch of Angat Kabuhayan, a platform for linking communities to various industries to help marginalized Filipinos find a job or come up with a sustainable livelihood.
This program is an offshoot of VP Robredo’s Angat Buhay – a flagship anti-poverty program – that seeks to connect the poorest communities with the public and private sector to improve basic delivery of services.
I support this event as champion of legislative measures on education, universal health care, housing and resettlement among others.
