Following hours of motorcycle ride from Manila to Kalinga, now here in Nueva Vizcaya where I visited Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Hospital to check their ward and facilities, I am saddened with the present situation of patients who were forced to stay in corridors and aisles due to overcrowding.
This scenario makes me more adamant to prioritize the improvement and upgrading of health facilities in our country.
That is what we would like to address and hopefully solve by the end of the President’s term.
Thank you Gov. Carlos Padilla, provincial officials and health workers for the warm welcome. Gov. Padilla is on his first term as Governor and he is very much concerned and determined to improve the situation of the hospital facilities.
Be rest assured that we will tackle the problems and find solutions to the state of our health facilities together!
