THE indefatigable and hardworking United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) senatorial candidate San Juan City Rep. JV Ejercito Estrada is being warmly received wherever he goes to campaign. The young lawmaker’s latest sortie brought him to the Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Laguna and Quezon) region.

Observers said, Ejercito Estrada hardly missed any of his sorties in the provinces. And just like his charismatic father, former President Joseph Estrada, he never gets tired of shaking hands and getting acquainted with people from all walks of life.

“The first time we saw JV in person, we were touched by his humility and his concern for the poor. He listened intently to our problems, unlike other candidates who simply shrug off our pleas for help,” said a farmer from Iloilo City.

People who attended his sorties noted that Ejercito Estrada takes the time to participate in various seminars and symposia to get a better handle on problems confronting the people.

Meanwhile, in one of his media interviews, he said Sam Pinto’s endorsement is also helping him. He admitted that the actress is an effective crowd drawer. He also said that he has known Sam for a long time.

“Sam’s family is close to us. Besides, she’s a popular actress and a good crowd drawer,” said Ejercito Estrada, who is a consistent top performer in pre-election surveys conducted by Pulse Asia and the Social Weather Stations.
