UNITED Nationalist Alliance (UNA) senatorial bet San Juan City Rep. JV Ejercito Estrada thanked the public for consistently including him in the top 10 preferred senatorial candidates in pre-election surveys.

Pulse Asia has just released its March 2013 Pre-Election Survey from March 16 to 20, 2013 listing Ejercito Estrada no. 8-9 among the 33 senatorial candidate. He was favored by 38.6 percent of the respondents.

The San Juan lawmaker is grateful for the public’s continuous support for his senatorial bid.

Given a chance to serve in the Senate, Ejercito Estrada said he will pursue measures that will increase jobs and expand the access of poor but deserving students to quality education.

Although the recent Pulse Asia survey indicated that the Liberal Party-led “Team Pinoy” has a slight edge over UNA candidates, Ejercito said UNA remains a force to reckon with.

He and two other UNA senatorial candidates–Binay and Honasan–are in the winner’s circle while Zubiri, Enrile and Gordon are within striking distance at 13th to 15th.

“We in UNA have a history of defying surveys during elections. The 2007 and 2010 elections would attest to this,” said Ejercito Estrada.
