Visited Zamboanga City Medical Center to check their ward and facilities as the chair of Senate Committee on Health and Demography, always saddened with the present situation of patients who were forced to stay in corridors and aisles due to overcrowding.

The hospital was clean and well maintained except that the facilities just not enough anymore.

That is what we would like to address and hopefully solve by the end of the President’s term.

On the brighter side I was able to share to the staff and health workers about the Universal Healthcare Bills that we are push, which aims to make health care services accessible and affordable to everyone, especially the poor.
