Born on the 26th of December 1969 to then newly elected San Juan Mayor and former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada and businesswoman & philanthropist Guia Gomez, JOSEPH VICTOR EJERCITO ESTRADA was named because he was a “victory” baby.
He attended Xavier School for his secondary education and completed his Bachelor of Arts, Major in Political Science degree at De La Salle University.
He is married to the former Ma. Hyacinth Lotuaco, with whom he has a son, Julio Jose. He has an older son, Jose Emilio.
Rep JV Ejercito Estrada is also a Commissioned Reserve Officer of the Philippine Marine Corps with the rank of Major. He is an adopted member of the Philippine Military Academy Class ’88 Maringal.
