SANTIAGO CITY, ISABELA VISIT
Spent my Saturday in Santiago City where I visited the Southern Isabela General Hospital and checked on the condition of the ward section and other facilities such as hemodialysis unit.
After BBL hearings in Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi to Northern Luzon this time!
I also told the hospital staff and health workers that I will find ways, as chair of the Senate health committee, to address the problem of overcrowding government hospitals and I will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday regarding the matter, plus other equally important issues like the need to upgrade provincial, city and municipality hospitals.
