In taking part of the education sector’s plan to improve the facilities of education institutions nationwide, construction of additional classrooms and toilets have been initiated by Rep. JV in order to provide a conducive environment for learning both for students and teachers alike.

 

Pedro Cruz Elementary School is the first to benefit with the construction of additional classrooms and toilet. For the collegiate level, students of PUP-San Juan are now also enjoying their newly constructed gymnasium, which allows usage of a basketball and volleyball court, and in the future, a badminton court for the enjoyment of students. Total expenses for both completed infrastructures are P10.3 Million.

 

Meanwhile, the Interim Building of the Department of Education remains to undergo construction which sums to a total of P20.3 Million. The Honorable Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile extended his support for the construction of this building by contributing an assistance of P4.63 Million, along with the A-Teachers Partylist contribution of P1.93 Million from the total sum.
